Coloane Transport Guide: No Ferries, but These Alternatives

Currently, there is no ferry service in Coloane. Since 2018, taxis and buses have become the main transport options. You can take a taxi or bus near the Macau Urban Zone pier.

There are mainly three options: bus, taxi and car hire. Bus routes cover the main attractions, taxis are readily available, and car hire is suitable for self-driving tours.

By bus, the journey takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. By taxi, the journey takes about 20 to 25 minutes, with a cost of approximately 80 to 100 Macau patacas.

Routes 21A and 21AT are the most commonly used routes, passing by multiple attractions along the way. Route 21A runs every 15 minutes, operating from 6am to 11pm.

There are multiple bus routes connecting the main attractions in the city, such as往返Eastern Beach and the Mazu Statue. Taxis are relatively easy to hail, and it is recommended to negotiate the fare before getting in to ensure a reasonable price.
